Dear Parish Clerk,
I would be grateful if you could bring to the attention of your parish council a public meeting which will be held at Warslow Village Hall on 7th June at 7pm.
This has been organised by Jonathan Kempster of Longnor Parish Council on behalf of the Green Party so that all residents interested can hear a presentation by Mike Barr of 20’s Plenty for Staffordshire and Phil Jones who currently is advising nationally on the matter. After the
presentation there will be an opportunity for questions and discussion
to assess local people’s views on whether this would help to address their concerns about traffic speed in several Moorland villages.
A similar meeting, organised through Horton Parish Council, was held in
September in Rudyard and was very well attended. All neighbouring
Manifold parish councils are cordially invited to come along to Warslow.
